Meet the Founder

If You can SEE it, You can DREAM it, and you will ACHIEVE it.

This is one of the Motto's that Dominque Lives by. This is her "WHY'' for creating Black Girl Magic Museum

Founder

Dominque Hamilton

Dominque is a purpose-led entrepreneur, an innovator, and a visionary. Being the Change she wants to see; she continues to create businesses that will positively impact her community. No stranger to social enterprise, Dominque founded Desire N’ Arts (DNA), a non-profit that taught leadership, confidence, and self-esteem through dance in 2015.

The tragic deaths of Atatiana Jefferson, Breonna Taylor, and Sandra Bland propelled Dominque to create Black Girl Magic Museum. A safe space for the community to learn about social justice, economic empowerment, and black women in STEAM.

Dominque is aware of the disadvantages many black girls and women face. She hopes that every person that experiences the Back Girl Magic Museum leaves empowered with the confidence to do their part to change the world around them.
