The Black Girl Magic Museum is proud to announce the opening of its second location in the heart of New Orleans! Nestled within the Riverwalk Outlets, this expansion is a celebration of Black culture, history, and empowerment, and there's no better city to host it than NOLA.
Why New Orleans?
New Orleans is a city steeped in history, music, and a culture that pulses with vibrancy. It is a place where Black women have played a monumental role in shaping its essence—from crafting iconic dishes like gumbo and pralines to creating a legacy of jazz, coffee culture, and resilience. New Orleans’ spirit mirrors the very ethos of the Black Girl Magic Museum: honoring the creativity, strength, and brilliance of Black women.
When we envisioned opening a second location, we knew it had to be a space where magic already existed. The Riverwalk Outlets, with its bustling energy and community of creatives, was the perfect spot to sprinkle a little more magic.
